"I’ve been missing home a lot lately and I got some fish and chips from these guys at the Takapuna Sunday Market and it really filled up my cup, with a warm welcome and a big smile this couple really made my day, the fish was devine, the first bite got me hooked, it was the perfect crunch while also being nice and flavourful, the chips were well seasoned and the perfect amount of sauces on the side, I also got their famous Dubai chocolate rose and it’s a must try!!!! Thankyou so much for making my day!"

"Malu Fish and Chips never disappoints. The quality is always consistent and the portions are just right. The fish is fresh, the batter is perfect not gluggy at all, other burger ingredients fresh, and the chips are never too oily. Simple food done right and definitely a go-to spot."

I loved how the fish and squid were covered in batter—just the way I like it—and served with homemade mayo dips and ketchup. Did I forget to mention the lemon? And oh, the pickles—yes! They made it even more special. It’s a 10/10 for me. Highly recommend Malu Fish and Chips!"
